Second half was almost entirely cloudy. We stayed open the whole time, but there were periods of sitting around trying to punch through. Apollo switched time with UW06, and started an hour before twilight. The clouds were still heavy, but we tried anyway. The clouds forces us to give up after a half hour. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:04 SPICAM 560( 420) -48 47 7.4 7.7 7.8 7.2 7.1 MSSSO I 0.70 00:16 dis-slit 510( 304) -58 39 6.2 6.1 6.4 6.2 6.3 MSSSO I 0.70 05:04 APOLLO 550( 770) 58 61 4.2 4.2 4.7 4.3 4.0 -- 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 49 14 11 241 (WSW) 198 mstly clr none 17:00 45 17 11 267 (W) 279 mstly clr none 18:00 45 18 9 261 (W) 332 ptly cldy none 19:00 45 18 11 237 (WSW) 352 ptly cldy none 20:00 44 17 8 253 (WSW) 319 ptly cldy none 21:00 45 15 14 252 (WSW) 266 mstly clr none 22:00 44 12 12 291 (WNW) 206 clear none 23:00 44 13 13 268 (W) 235 ptly cldy none 00:00 44 15 11 278 (W) 269 ptly cldy none 01:00 43 14 13 284 (WNW) 224 cloudy none 02:00 42 14 13 283 (WNW) 162 cloudy none 03:00 41 15 9 262 (W) 144 cloudy none 04:00 40 15 11 272 (W) 150 cloudy none 05:00 40 16 10 282 (WNW) 165 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
