For some reason APOLLO focus and seeing did not get recorded. Seeing was around 2.0 arc sec. Clouds got fairly thick around 01:30 but we observed thru them (changing targets to backups) until around 02:50 when even Jupiter was getting hard to get spectra for. We gave up around 05:00 with more clouds forming to our West and completely cloudy overhead. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:27 TSPEC 634( 395) 289 22 1.7 3.8 3.6 4.2 2.4 -- 1.42 21:49 NICFPS 349( 199) 249 74 2.7 1.0 1.3 0.8 1.6 Clear 1.30 21:55 NICFPS 402( 253) 249 73 2.9 1.1 1.5 0.9 1.7 MK-J 1.09 22:12 NA2gdr -3503(39497) 250 70 3.0 1.2 1.8 1.1 2.0 clear 1.3 00:19 ECHELLE 466(-1232) 105 37 0.3 0.3 0.9 0.4 0.3 ND5 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 37 11 8 356 (N) 93 clear none 17:00 36 2 13 19 (NNE) 81 clear none 18:00 36 1 7 0 (N) 61 clear none 19:00 37 4 7 347 (NNW) 55 clear none 20:00 37 4 8 358 (N) 50 clear none 21:00 33 10 9 266 (W) 108 clear none 22:00 37 3 6 261 (W) 68 mstly clr none 23:00 33 17 8 182 (S) 148 clear none 00:00 34 14 14 200 (SSW) 139 clear none 01:00 34 8 14 264 (W) 92 ptly cldy none 02:00 34 15 12 264 (W) 103 cloudy none 03:00 32 18 14 235 (SW) 103 cloudy none 04:00 32 17 13 263 (W) 108 cloudy none 05:00 33 17 12 277 (W) 102 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
