I finally got ahold of Sean, and we got the night rolling. Seeing was variable, and some clouds started rolling in a little before midnight. We pushed through it, even when they got a bit thick. Radar returns stayed south of us. We closed a bit early because the clouds were too thick to get anything useful, however the time was still used for taking cals. So I did not count this as time lost to weather. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:02 dis-slit 400( -343) 103 63 -1.1 -0.9 -0.7 -0.9 -1.1 -- 1.40 00:28 SPICAM 494( -86) 26 54 0.1 -0.8 -0.5 -0.8 0.1 MSSSO R 1.40 04:21 SPICAM 519( -15) 10 58 1.5 0.3 0.3 0.5 1.4 MSSSO R 2.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 34 -5 7 216 (SW) 111 clear none 17:00 31 -11 2 193 (SSW) 118 clear none 18:00 28 -14 10 181 (S) 119 clear none 19:00 31 -12 6 144 (SE) 157 clear none 20:00 30 -12 8 129 (SE) 187 clear none 21:00 31 -13 7 175 (S) 189 clear none 22:00 32 -12 7 174 (S) 166 mstly clr none 23:00 32 -11 11 166 (SSE) 153 ptly cldy none 00:00 32 -11 12 167 (SSE) 152 mstly clr none 01:00 33 -11 12 174 (S) 149 mstly clr none 02:00 30 -13 16 133 (SE) 136 ptly cldy none 03:00 34 -10 18 169 (S) 182 mstly cldy none 04:00 30 -14 21 138 (SE) 206 mstly cldy none 05:00 33 -10 21 161 (SSE) 187 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
