CU03 was following a star at high altitude, and I let it hit the set max of 87. Read the wiki instructions, found that the axelim.dat file had 87.2 set for the maximum altitude, and re-initiated tcc. Lost 5 minutes of observing time, with no problems afterwards. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CU03 Telescope 04:40 04:45 Telescope reached altitude limit- had to re-start tcc and TUI. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:36 dis-slit 394( -119) -89 57 4.0 3.5 3.7 3.8 4.1 -- 1.82 23:38 dis-slit 475( -32) 215 55 5.2 3.6 3.9 3.7 4.2 -- 1.30 00:13 dis-slit 504( 25) 240 47 5.3 4.0 4.0 4.1 4.4 -- 1.88 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 39 11 16 319 (NW) 18 clear none 17:00 40 4 21 286 (WNW) 20 clear none 18:00 38 11 16 302 (WNW) 19 clear none 19:00 41 9 19 290 (WNW) 24 clear none 20:00 39 13 12 266 (W) 22 clear none 21:00 39 11 7 272 (W) 26 clear none 22:00 40 6 16 300 (WNW) 18 clear none 23:00 38 9 8 274 (W) 14 clear none 00:00 42 -1 19 282 (WNW) 17 clear none 01:00 41 -2 12 257 (WSW) 6 clear none 02:00 39 -3 20 269 (W) 18 clear none 03:00 39 -6 14 271 (W) 15 clear none 04:00 37 -2 10 265 (W) 6 clear none 05:00 35 3 10 256 (WSW) 14 clear none 06:00 34 14 16 264 (W) 17 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
