I followed the wiki instructions and didn't have problems until it was time to observe. I had to manually power-cycle the Tspec slitviewer, and follow the wiki instructions for restart. Worked fine after that. Clouds rolled it at 19:00 and kept us closed for the majority of the final shift. Gave up at 6:10. Closed at 1:43. Opened at 4:25. Closed at 5:30. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:35 ECHELLE 406( -734) 228 76 9.3 12.0 10.7 12.3 9.8 ND3 1.08 20:26 TSPEC 375( 421) 229 37 9.7 10.0 9.9 9.9 9.3 -- 0.73 21:35 dis-slit 290( 119) 214 26 9.3 9.3 9.3 9.0 8.7 -- 1.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 16 10 229 (SW) 353 clear none 17:00 55 16 6 270 (W) 328 clear none 18:00 49 15 7 253 (WSW) 360 mstly clr none 19:00 50 16 2 217 (SW) 406 mstly cldy none 20:00 50 17 2 270 (W) 401 ptly cldy none 21:00 50 17 3 254 (WSW) 401 ptly cldy none 22:00 49 18 5 260 (W) 469 ptly cldy none 23:00 49 18 3 261 (W) 426 ptly cldy none 00:00 48 18 2 244 (WSW) 371 mstly cldy none 01:00 48 19 3 245 (WSW) 424 ptly cldy none 02:00 49 19 2 211 (SSW) 375 mstly cldy none 03:00 49 20 2 227 (SW) 384 cloudy none 04:00 47 19 6 182 (S) 488 mstly cldy none 05:00 47 20 6 160 (SSE) 514 mstly cldy none 06:00 46 20 3 141 (SE) 532 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
