Very peaceful, except... the trouble with the echelle cal mirror got worse, and more than half the time I had to go upstairs to put the mirror into "Lamps" position by hand. It did improve somewhat second half, but I still had to help it along twice. This problem cost each program a few minutes. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NM03 E I/H 18:55 19:05 Echelle cal mirror stuck PU04 E I/H 01:20 01:25 Echelle cal mirror stuck ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:42 ECHELLE 722( -601) 216 77 7.8 8.4 7.7 8.6 7.8 ND2 0.70 21:53 ECHELLE 462( -877) 237 51 8.7 7.8 8.1 7.8 8.2 ND1 0.89 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 19 2 270 (W) 425 clear none 17:00 47 14 4 356 (N) 231 clear none 18:00 46 5 5 354 (N) 73 clear none 19:00 46 2 6 355 (N) 27 clear none 20:00 47 2 16 355 (N) 91 clear none 21:00 47 8 12 7 (N) 226 clear none 22:00 48 10 6 304 (NW) 284 clear none 23:00 47 11 7 350 (N) 285 clear none 00:00 45 11 2 345 (NNW) 254 clear none 01:00 43 13 1 333 (NNW) 296 clear none 02:00 43 14 6 347 (NNW) 300 clear none 03:00 42 11 2 268 (W) 233 clear none 04:00 42 17 4 284 (WNW) 358 clear none 05:00 42 17 5 351 (N) 360 clear none 06:00 44 8 7 322 (NW) 204 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
