I did not correct it as we only had about an hour with the instrument. Did not notice this earlier in the evening when the echelle was on. This was using their stars, but the pointing was consistent in where the star landed on the slit. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:34 ECHELLE 679( -417) 72 60 11.5 12.7 11.6 13.1 11.7 ND3 1.00 19:39 TSPEC 514( 606) 223 64 11.6 11.6 11.7 11.6 11.4 Ks 0.84 23:55 ECHELLE 420( -742) 339 46 11.3 11.1 11.6 11.3 11.2 ND4 1.10 01:23 AGILE -1315(-1909) -45 47 10.7 10.5 11.0 10.5 10.3 SDSS r 0.92 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 8 3 57 (ENE) 170 mstly clr none 17:00 54 9 3 283 (WNW) 214 mstly clr none 18:00 53 8 9 325 (NW) 137 mstly clr none 19:00 52 8 11 3 (N) 111 clear none 20:00 53 7 12 353 (N) 159 clear none 21:00 53 9 8 349 (N) 189 clear none 22:00 53 9 10 353 (N) 198 clear none 23:00 53 9 13 326 (NW) 221 clear none 00:00 52 9 17 324 (NW) 216 clear none 01:00 51 9 10 325 (NW) 218 clear none 02:00 51 10 7 357 (N) 225 clear none 03:00 46 9 3 16 (NNE) 203 mstly clr none 04:00 50 9 5 345 (NNW) 188 mstly clr none 05:00 50 10 9 343 (NNW) 109 mstly clr none 06:00 49 12 1 218 (SW) 38 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
