Some threatening clouds formed over us right when we first opened, but they blew over quickly with no bad things happening. The rest of the night was productive with decent seeing and clear skies. We did have one problem during first half. The Agile rotator stopped responding. Stopping the axes, hitting a stop button, and restarting the axes brought it back. It had no more problems after this. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:30 AGILE -1125(-1612) 115 46 12.4 12.6 12.8 12.7 12.2 BG40 1.60 23:10 AGILE -1200(-1872) 183 83 10.0 9.4 9.9 9.3 9.3 BG40 1.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 57 43 25 186 (S) 436 ptly cldy none 17:00 57 39 23 191 (S) 542 mstly clr none 18:00 56 38 18 204 (SSW) 569 ptly cldy none 19:00 54 36 21 228 (SW) 648 ptly cldy none 20:00 53 35 20 235 (SW) 1155 mstly clr none 21:00 52 28 29 239 (WSW) 702 clear none 22:00 50 28 10 259 (W) 541 clear none 23:00 50 24 17 254 (WSW) 348 clear none 00:00 49 21 13 257 (WSW) 321 clear none 01:00 48 21 15 275 (W) 272 clear none 02:00 47 22 13 258 (WSW) 245 clear none 03:00 45 20 10 285 (WNW) 208 clear none 04:00 44 21 17 268 (W) 278 clear none 05:00 43 22 13 272 (W) 261 clear none 06:00 42 24 27 270 (W) 239 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
