Seeing was variable, and not terribly good. Clouds rolled in and got very thick, and we closed at 21:30. Then a huge thunderstorm hit, and the night was very humid and windy after that. Sky was clear for a little while during the second half, but more storms built on top of us. Called it a night at 05:00 ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:01 TSPEC 514( 776) -5 62 13.1 14.9 14.5 15.3 13.6 -- 2.06 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 37 8 286 (WNW) 222 ptly cldy none 17:00 54 38 6 85 (E) 386 ptly cldy none 18:00 59 33 5 214 (SW) 167 mstly clr none 19:00 56 33 18 135 (SE) 311 mstly clr none 20:00 53 40 13 116 (ESE) 632 ptly cldy none 21:00 51 41 12 103 (ESE) 615 cloudy none 22:00 50 41 19 84 (E) 632 cloudy none 23:00 50 44 21 91 (E) 973 cloudy rain 00:00 45 44 2 241 (WSW) 390 cloudy rain 01:00 45 43 20 208 (SSW) 312 cloudy rain 02:00 51 44 25 141 (SE) 398 ptly cldy humid 03:00 52 49 32 161 (SSE) 587 mstly clr humid 04:00 51 48 17 156 (SSE) 539 mstly clr humid 05:00 50 47 25 177 (S) 455 mstly clr humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
