Gave up at 04:15 with high winds and high humidity. I left the dome parked due South to help melt things off the enclosure. Only stop button in control room is depressed in case somebody wants to run the snow program during the daytime. We got about 2 inches of snew now on site (from the hood of my car), but lots of blowing with the strong winds tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 29 28 6 280 (W) 24491 cloudy fog 17:00 28 28 4 255 (WSW) 13062 cloudy lt snow 18:00 26 25 2 16 (NNE) 371 cloudy lt snow 19:00 26 26 2 59 (ENE) 154 cloudy lt snow 20:00 25 24 14 62 (ENE) 720 ptly cldy humid 21:00 26 24 7 80 (E) 711 cloudy snow 22:00 27 25 11 77 (ENE) 576 cloudy snow 23:00 25 23 37 66 (ENE) 6266 mstly cldy humid 00:00 22 21 33 69 (ENE) 2447 mstly cldy humid 01:00 21 20 35 67 (ENE) 2159 mstly cldy humid 02:00 21 20 29 68 (ENE) 1998 ptly cldy humid 03:00 23 20 29 69 (ENE) 1149 ptly cldy humid 04:00 21 20 42 63 (ENE) 992 ptly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
