First problem: could not access lamps, solution: entered "tlamps status" into TCC. Second problem: Could not turn lamps on or off, solution: logged into tron and entered "lamps restart" to reset the lamp daemon. Worked fine after all this. Observers had no trouble except that the seeing was poor for the first half of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:18 dis-slit 182( 468) -46 59 15.9 19.2 18.9 18.5 16.4 1.60 21:08 dis-slit 184( 353) -68 60 15.5 16.9 17.2 16.2 15.2 1.90 01:33 dis-slit 310( 353) 2 52 15.8 14.3 14.8 14.2 15.1 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 42 1 179 (S) 732 mstly clr none 17:00 70 42 8 103 (ESE) 772 mstly clr none 18:00 67 42 7 87 (E) 798 mstly clr none 19:00 65 44 13 63 (ENE) 1123 mstly clr none 20:00 61 45 13 72 (ENE) 903 clear none 21:00 60 43 18 72 (ENE) 1032 clear none 22:00 58 39 17 79 (E) 1217 clear none 23:00 57 38 16 78 (ENE) 1190 clear none 00:00 58 37 16 78 (ENE) 1096 clear none 01:00 58 38 13 67 (ENE) 1110 clear none 02:00 61 39 6 356 (N) 936 clear none 03:00 60 42 10 38 (NE) 960 mstly clr none 04:00 60 42 11 5 (N) 992 clear none 05:00 59 41 13 45 (NE) 1045 clear none 06:00 60 41 9 4 (N) 1036 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
