I managed to check the telescope focus but we were not able to get any science data second half. We were never able to re-open for second half due to cloud cover. My observer gave up at 04:50 with complete cloud cover at the site. No problems first half when we were open. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:19 dis-slit 169( 614) 26 55 18.7 22.3 21.8 22.0 19.3 -- 1.30 20:20 NA2gdr 1063(23063) 25 55 18.6 22.2 21.7 21.8 19.3 R 1.10 21:32 ECHELLE 250( -445) 33 38 19.0 20.0 19.8 19.5 18.9 ND2 1.20 22:04 dis-slit 244( 536) -20 56 18.8 19.3 19.5 18.9 18.6 -- 1.06 01:28 dis-slit 237( 434) 282 76 18.0 17.6 18.1 17.6 17.5 -- 0.85 01:30 NA2gdr 2803(24803) 281 76 18.0 17.6 18.0 17.6 17.5 clear 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 44 6 191 (S) 627 ptly cldy none 17:00 73 41 4 265 (W) 609 mstly clr none 18:00 71 44 9 218 (SW) 676 mstly clr none 19:00 69 42 6 258 (WSW) 713 clear none 20:00 66 40 10 180 (S) 701 clear none 21:00 66 37 10 171 (S) 671 clear none 22:00 66 33 13 174 (S) 499 ptly cldy none 23:00 66 33 13 181 (S) 509 ptly cldy none 00:00 64 35 11 181 (S) 550 ptly cldy none 01:00 65 33 12 177 (S) 509 mstly cldy none 02:00 64 37 12 183 (S) 538 cloudy none 03:00 64 36 10 183 (S) 609 cloudy none 04:00 63 37 9 188 (S) 576 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
