Just before midnight thick clouds started forming over site. Closed until clouds moved west. Problem with echelle ICC. During science image, readout was all zeros. Echelle init did not work, restarting the ICC software corrected the problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UV03 E I/H 05:00 05:06 echelle readout zero images ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:08 dis-slit 358( 747) 106 32 17.9 20.5 20.4 19.8 18.2 -- 2.04 03:13 ECHELLE 309( -640) 87 69 15.1 15.7 16.1 15.8 15.2 ND2 0.67 05:21 APOLLO 400( 1172) 89 32 14.1 14.3 14.7 14.2 14.1 -- 2.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 47 13 102 (ESE) 886 ptly cldy none 17:00 70 45 11 115 (ESE) 859 ptly cldy none 18:00 69 42 8 95 (E) 563 ptly cldy none 19:00 16 108 (ESE) 688 mstly clr none 20:00 65 45 11 114 (ESE) 786 mstly clr none 21:00 64 44 14 110 (ESE) 864 mstly clr none 22:00 63 45 12 87 (E) 1096 mstly clr none 23:00 63 46 16 81 (E) 1012 cloudy none 00:00 62 46 10 89 (E) 1055 cloudy none 01:00 61 47 7 33 (NNE) 995 cloudy none 02:00 60 48 8 35 (NE) 997 mstly cldy none 03:00 59 48 7 116 (ESE) 971 mstly clr none 04:00 59 49 11 112 (ESE) 1159 mstly clr none 05:00 58 50 13 128 (SE) 1149 clear none 06:00 59 49 16 80 (E) 1189 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
