The second time we opened, the slitviewer computer crashed and needed a power cycle during focusing, which cost a few minutes of time. Later there was one case where the slitviewer stopped taking images, but that time I was able to recover just by repeatedly trying exposures until one succeeded, with essentially no time lost. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NM01 E I/S 03:20 03:32 slitty crash ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:47 ECHELLE 618( -203) 71 40 15.2 17.5 17.0 16.6 15.3 Clear 1.50 03:32 ECHELLE 300( -754) -49 61 13.6 13.6 14.1 13.6 13.2 ND1 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 69 45 4 173 (S) 1004 mstly cldy none 17:00 63 45 23 133 (SE) 987 mstly cldy none 18:00 59 52 10 194 (SSW) 1199 ptly cldy none 19:00 61 47 13 87 (E) 1105 ptly cldy none 20:00 60 46 13 100 (E) 1106 ptly cldy none 21:00 60 46 16 123 (ESE) 1194 mstly cldy none 22:00 59 47 21 81 (E) 1024 mstly cldy none 23:00 58 48 16 89 (E) 1108 cloudy none 00:00 58 47 15 113 (ESE) 1636 cloudy lt rain 01:00 58 47 13 109 (ESE) 1698 cloudy lt rain 02:00 55 49 14 92 (E) 1473 mstly cldy none 03:00 56 49 10 116 (ESE) 1564 ptly cldy none 04:00 56 48 17 126 (SE) 1607 mstly clr none 05:00 57 47 12 123 (ESE) 1159 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
