Very unsettled weather first half as two storm outflows clashed overhead. We had only a few sprinkles but much uncertainty, so I wasn't prepared to open until well into second half. Seeing was poor but not as bad as I expected. Clouds interfered but didn't completely prevent observations for the first hour, then the sky cleared nicely. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:33 dis-slit 150( 208) 244 60 13.2 14.8 15.2 14.4 13.5 - 1.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 69 44 3 188 (S) 674 ptly cldy none 17:00 70 46 11 118 (ESE) 1040 ptly cldy none 18:00 74 46 10 213 (SSW) 934 ptly cldy none 19:00 71 45 1 204 (SSW) 859 ptly cldy none 20:00 66 47 3 120 (ESE) 678 ptly cldy none 21:00 65 47 11 110 (ESE) 1283 mstly cldy none 22:00 61 47 19 107 (ESE) 1442 mstly cldy lt rain 23:00 61 45 19 86 (E) 1419 mstly cldy none 00:00 58 47 25 82 (E) 890 ptly cldy none 01:00 58 47 20 80 (E) 676 ptly cldy none 02:00 57 48 16 85 (E) 883 ptly cldy none 03:00 56 48 16 80 (E) 948 mstly clr none 04:00 55 49 9 49 (NE) 1616 clear none 05:00 56 47 8 124 (SE) 1408 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
