Flats looked like biases. Bill came up to the sight and worked on this several hours eventually confirming shutter is not moving and believes it is an electrical issue and we will wait until Ed can have a look at this on Monday. There was also a network problem going into the 1m control room. Fritz ended up coming out and switching the network convertor. Communications to the room are now restored. Thunderstorms rolling through all first half. Open second. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:11 dis-slit 75( 134) 126 56 14.4 14.7 14.9 14.1 14.2 1.07 01:58 dis-slit -58( 12) -113 37 13.9 14.4 14.1 13.8 13.6 1.47 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 74 30 18 214 (SW) 1983 cloudy none 17:00 76 30 20 215 (SW) 1991 cloudy none 18:00 73 28 18 222 (SW) 1825 cloudy none 19:00 67 24 21 224 (SW) 1927 cloudy none 20:00 65 24 12 224 (SW) 2124 cloudy none 21:00 63 31 8 139 (SE) 2327 cloudy none 22:00 58 40 28 135 (SE) 2793 cloudy none 23:00 59 40 23 137 (SE) 2810 cloudy none 00:00 56 40 26 142 (SE) 3281 cloudy none 01:00 55 39 15 144 (SE) 2148 mstly clr none 02:00 57 37 16 172 (S) 1941 mstly clr none 03:00 54 38 15 142 (SE) 1540 mstly clr none 04:00 54 38 15 152 (SSE) 1693 mstly clr none 05:00 54 37 12 177 (S) 1582 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
