The dome was open all night, but there were some periods during first half when the clouds were too thick to take any data. DIS blue was still down tonight, but the problem preventing us from running the red half only was resolved. Accordingly the scheduled first half program ceded time to another CU program which could make use of the red side of DIS; the second half program was already more reliant on the red so no change was needed there. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:47 dis-slit 251( 34) 174 80 11.4 12.0 11.6 11.2 11.4 - 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 17 8 270 (W) 890 ptly cldy none 17:00 60 15 13 269 (W) 1314 ptly cldy none 18:00 56 14 9 280 (W) 1586 ptly cldy none 19:00 53 11 8 221 (SW) 1856 ptly cldy none 20:00 53 10 11 227 (SW) 2026 ptly cldy none 21:00 53 10 16 232 (SW) 2096 ptly cldy none 22:00 53 10 16 238 (WSW) 2161 ptly cldy none 23:00 53 10 12 256 (WSW) 2066 ptly cldy none 00:00 53 10 10 264 (W) 1866 mstly clr none 01:00 52 9 9 262 (W) 1856 ptly cldy none 02:00 52 8 16 307 (NW) 2003 ptly cldy none 03:00 51 8 11 338 (NNW) 2436 ptly cldy none 04:00 50 7 8 4 (N) 2269 mstly clr none 05:00 52 9 14 24 (NNE) 1987 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
