Also the secondary focus had to be changed by a large degree. Nicfps was not responding, had to restart the software in the server room. After that it worked fine for the final observers. Sky was clear all night. Observers ended early to avoid brightening sky. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:22 ECHELLE 391( -757) 161 74 10.6 12.3 11.0 11.0 11.0 ND2 0.83 21:25 TSPEC 236( 291) 220 50 10.5 11.0 10.8 10.2 10.4 1.00 23:37 AGILE -1525(-2113) 57 13 9.8 9.7 9.8 9.1 9.4 MSSSO I 2.10 01:40 NICFPS 43( 364) 17 26 10.3 9.5 9.9 9.1 9.6 MK-Ks 1.40 01:59 NICFPS 43( 363) 12 27 10.0 9.5 9.9 9.0 9.6 2.12 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 22 11 260 (W) 500 clear none 17:00 54 22 13 289 (WNW) 613 clear none 18:00 58 22 18 247 (WSW) 603 clear none 19:00 56 22 14 249 (WSW) 822 clear none 20:00 52 22 12 233 (SW) 864 clear none 21:00 51 22 13 258 (WSW) 932 clear none 22:00 51 21 13 253 (WSW) 956 clear none 23:00 51 20 16 236 (SW) 922 clear none 00:00 50 20 9 268 (W) 879 clear none 01:00 50 20 12 265 (W) 958 clear none 02:00 50 21 9 265 (W) 1054 clear none 03:00 49 21 6 261 (W) 966 clear none 04:00 51 21 9 268 (W) 1129 clear none 05:00 50 21 6 1 (N) 862 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
