Even though the telescope was open no science was possible till 2230MT. Clouds cleared by 2300MT but started to build back up at 0330MT. Reopened at 04:45MT when the clouds thinned enough to get a science image. ecam continued to behave oddly. The camera appears to be reading out a delayed image which results in the current stars position to be different from where it was in the last image. Caused problems with the remote user. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:02 dis-slit 159( -92) 174 80 10.0 11.3 10.6 10.6 10.3 -- 1.20 01:08 ECHELLE 184(-1214) 309 59 7.0 7.1 7.3 6.8 6.8 ND3 0.94 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 57 16 30 259 (W) 2507 mstly clr none 17:00 57 17 27 257 (WSW) 2875 mstly clr none 18:00 56 17 23 251 (WSW) 2684 ptly cldy none 19:00 53 18 14 265 (W) 2693 cloudy none 20:00 51 18 14 261 (W) 2897 cloudy none 21:00 50 18 12 268 (W) 3267 cloudy none 22:00 48 18 12 289 (WNW) 3674 mstly cldy none 23:00 47 17 11 277 (W) 3701 mstly clr none 00:00 45 17 13 272 (W) 3862 clear none 01:00 44 16 13 276 (W) 3619 clear none 02:00 44 15 13 288 (WNW) 3494 clear none 03:00 44 13 12 263 (W) 3437 mstly cldy none 04:00 43 12 11 264 (W) 3459 mstly cldy none 05:00 42 12 11 254 (WSW) 3397 mstly cldy none 06:00 40 20 16 204 (SSW) 3787 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
