This still needs some work, but is already improving the scatter of our pointing models, so the results were implemented. I also used spicam to check collimation, which looked fine and didn't require any adjustment. Then I closed up early in order to allow more time for the pump to work on the echelle, which is impossible while the telescope is moving. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 21 11 252 (WSW) 2491 ptly cldy none 17:00 63 21 23 211 (SSW) 2671 ptly cldy none 18:00 63 20 17 226 (SW) 2521 ptly cldy none 19:00 56 16 18 207 (SSW) 2301 ptly cldy none 20:00 54 17 18 251 (WSW) 2205 ptly cldy none 21:00 53 15 20 228 (SW) 2142 ptly cldy none 22:00 53 15 13 207 (SSW) 2573 ptly cldy none 23:00 52 14 14 233 (SW) 2907 mstly clr none 00:00 52 14 13 234 (SW) 2976 mstly clr none 01:00 50 16 14 235 (SW) 2751 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
