Had to restart the software, got it running around 20:20. The automated nightlog script was broken, contacted Joe, got it fixed at about 20:15. User complained that the pointing appeared to be off by about 1/2 arcmin, examination of some images seemed to confirm this. Clouds caused problems starting around 23:00, cleared around 05:30. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:22 NICFPS 39( 588) 90 41 13.4 14.6 14.1 13.4 13.6 H 0.80 21:25 NICFPS 77( 552) 131 61 14.0 13.7 13.8 12.9 13.3 H 0.70 23:02 NICFPS 71( 500) 159 74 13.4 12.9 13.2 12.6 12.8 H 0.60 01:32 ECHELLE 121(-1053) 222 68 11.4 11.8 11.8 11.4 11.3 ND1 1.70 02:31 dis-slit 269( 8) 301 65 10.8 11.0 11.3 10.9 10.9 1.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 66 22 21 229 (SW) 1120 clear none 17:00 64 21 16 263 (W) 711 clear none 18:00 64 21 21 231 (SW) 696 clear none 19:00 60 18 21 264 (W) 878 clear none 20:00 57 15 17 250 (WSW) 802 clear none 21:00 58 17 18 238 (WSW) 894 clear none 22:00 56 18 19 260 (W) 911 clear none 23:00 56 18 25 260 (W) 881 ptly cldy none 00:00 55 18 29 248 (WSW) 961 ptly cldy none 01:00 54 18 27 267 (W) 882 ptly cldy none 02:00 52 18 18 257 (WSW) 918 ptly cldy none 03:00 50 19 19 257 (WSW) 838 ptly cldy none 04:00 50 21 21 260 (W) 756 ptly cldy none 05:00 49 21 27 251 (WSW) 1040 mstly clr none 06:00 47 21 23 240 (WSW) 1063 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
