There were also some clouds, but it was hard to tell by eye or IR cam whether they were water clouds or dust clouds. During second half the wind and dust slowly declined, until finally we were able to open for a couple of hours. Seeing was poor, made worse by running with limited ventilation. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:49 dis-slit -287(-1116) 24 72 -2.4 -0.6 -0.1 -1.4 -1.8 - 2.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 14 49 254 (WSW) 37356 cloudy none 17:00 44 15 45 251 (WSW) 45569 cloudy none 18:00 40 10 26 286 (WNW) 137586 cloudy none 19:00 37 7 30 269 (W) 100333 ptly cldy none 20:00 36 6 35 276 (W) 26333 ptly cldy none 21:00 34 9 18 277 (W) 114983 ptly cldy none 22:00 33 11 32 267 (W) 82522 ptly cldy none 23:00 32 10 35 270 (W) 37410 ptly cldy none 00:00 31 11 24 268 (W) 46368 ptly cldy none 01:00 31 13 19 271 (W) 25924 ptly cldy none 02:00 30 14 21 267 (W) 8039 ptly cldy none 03:00 29 14 21 278 (W) 2416 ptly cldy none 04:00 27 14 12 264 (W) 3636 mstly clr none 05:00 27 14 24 268 (W) 5021 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
