The second half observer got a couple of hours of data but estimated that they would not be usable; I did count that time towards observing since it was at least good enough to try. I did a little bit of pickup science on Epsilon Aurigae and also a positional confirmation that was requested. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:30 TSPEC 200( -19) 205 77 3.8 5.8 4.5 4.8 4.4 Ks 1.10 20:26 TSPEC 117( -167) 96 67 3.6 4.4 4.0 3.7 3.7 Ks 1.30 22:39 ECHELLE 119(-1373) 239 48 5.2 4.9 5.2 5.0 5.1 ND3 1.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 0 13 236 (SW) 1678 mstly cldy none 17:00 42 0 23 256 (WSW) 1690 mstly cldy none 18:00 39 7 16 243 (WSW) 1876 mstly cldy none 19:00 39 8 14 262 (W) 1777 mstly cldy none 20:00 40 8 22 257 (WSW) 1430 mstly cldy none 21:00 41 10 18 264 (W) 1209 mstly cldy none 22:00 42 11 13 268 (W) 1078 mstly cldy none 23:00 41 11 14 266 (W) 1012 mstly cldy none 00:00 40 10 15 264 (W) 1077 ptly cldy none 01:00 39 10 21 267 (W) 1158 mstly cldy none 02:00 39 10 21 284 (WNW) 1057 mstly cldy none 03:00 39 11 26 270 (W) 1627 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
