Dust levels increased around 0100MT but never got above 5K counts (0.1 micron). Around 0300MT light clouds rolled in, did not notice an affect on seeing, but did see and increase in drive error and star wander due to wind. The wind was not overly high, gusts did not top 25mph, so it is unclear why it was less stable than normal. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:29 ECHELLE 416( -803) 234 66 9.2 10.8 9.8 9.8 9.9 ND3 0.79 20:45 dis-slit 268( -89) 121 44 8.5 8.5 8.5 8.0 8.0 -- 1.61 00:34 dis-slit 174( -309) 178 79 7.0 6.6 6.9 6.2 6.5 -- 1.59 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 16 25 243 (WSW) 1654 clear none 17:00 54 12 15 272 (W) 1741 clear none 18:00 54 11 24 256 (WSW) 1793 clear none 19:00 50 12 27 255 (WSW) 1613 clear none 20:00 48 11 24 265 (W) 1635 clear none 21:00 46 13 23 266 (W) 1690 clear none 22:00 45 13 22 258 (WSW) 1608 clear none 23:00 45 12 22 271 (W) 1393 clear none 00:00 45 12 18 287 (WNW) 940 clear none 01:00 44 13 22 295 (WNW) 2571 clear none 02:00 44 14 20 297 (WNW) 4255 clear none 03:00 44 13 22 299 (WNW) 1550 mstly clr none 04:00 43 14 17 301 (WNW) 996 mstly clr none 05:00 42 12 20 304 (NW) 1213 mstly clr none 06:00 40 17 19 308 (NW) 744 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
