During APOLLO there was some odd focus values and collimation. Did a collimation check with the echelle, collimation looked good. Focus values for other instruments normal. New dcam shutter worked great. ECHELLE Fills: 16:30MST - autofill, shield did not stop fill, disconnected solenoid 01:30MST - noticed elevated echelle temps, I do not believe it was autofilling ccd dewar, manual filled both dewars 06:00MST - manual fill ccd and shield dewars ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:53 APOLLO 750( 723) 10 75 -1.7 -0.5 -1.8 -0.6 -0.7 -- 3.00 19:07 APOLLO 200( 152) -78 35 -1.7 -1.8 -1.8 -2.0 -2.0 -- 2.00 20:03 dis-slit 251( -639) 182 70 -1.3 -1.8 -1.6 -1.9 -1.9 -- 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 29 14 8 291 (WNW) 105 clear none 17:00 31 14 13 307 (NW) 52 clear none 18:00 29 13 10 277 (W) 59 clear none 19:00 28 11 8 281 (W) 178 clear none 20:00 29 11 9 267 (W) 193 clear none 21:00 30 12 11 270 (W) 215 clear none 22:00 31 11 15 267 (W) 87 clear none 23:00 31 11 16 254 (WSW) 148 clear none 00:00 32 10 15 264 (W) 293 clear none 01:00 31 9 18 254 (WSW) 347 clear none 02:00 31 9 13 240 (WSW) 431 clear none 03:00 31 9 11 260 (W) 535 clear none 04:00 32 9 16 281 (W) 505 clear none 05:00 33 9 24 266 (W) 405 clear none 06:00 30 9 20 232 (SW) 393 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
