I did tests of a telescope stop command (works) and the control-click bug (I didn't get a real failure like the original). I adjusted the DIS spectrographs' internal focus by a small amount and the DIS slitviewer focus by a large amount, bringing them into agreement. I did throughput measurements with DIS, collimation with SPIcam, and a pointing model. Fastcam was unusable due to an eyelid problem, but there was no wind anyway. Shack-Hartmann was unusable due to a possible stepper motor problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:21 dis-slit 166( -277) 178 70 6.2 7.3 6.2 6.0 6.0 1.30 02:26 dis-slit 165( -282) 180 70 6.3 7.2 6.2 5.9 5.9 1.18 02:51 dis-blue im 40( -433) 191 70 6.7 6.7 6.1 5.5 5.8 g 1.36 02:51 dis-red im 40( -433) 191 70 6.7 6.7 6.1 5.5 5.8 r 0.99 02:59 dis-slit 146( -333) 194 69 6.7 6.6 6.3 5.5 5.9 1.21 03:14 dis r spec 55( -432) 200 68 6.3 6.4 6.3 5.5 5.8 1.24 03:21 dis b spec 50( -442) 202 68 6.5 6.3 6.3 5.5 5.8 1.64 04:46 dis-slit 193( -305) 221 58 7.1 6.0 6.5 5.5 6.1 1.29 05:11 dis red im 100( -387) 223 55 6.9 6.2 6.7 5.8 6.3 r 1.20 05:11 dis b im 100( -387) 223 55 6.9 6.2 6.7 5.8 6.3 g 1.36 05:18 dis-slit 195( -288) 224 54 7.3 6.2 6.8 5.9 6.4 1.24 06:16 SHACK -50( 106) 127 63 7.1 6.2 6.5 5.7 6.1 1.20 07:34 dis-slit 116( -353) -34 52 7.1 6.5 6.9 6.4 6.7 1.10 07:47 dis b im 116( -348) -38 50 6.9 6.5 6.9 6.5 6.7 g 1.10 07:47 dis r im 116( -348) -38 50 6.9 6.5 6.9 6.5 6.7 r 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 6 6 245 (WSW) 368 clear none 17:00 49 5 5 257 (WSW) 289 clear none 18:00 42 1 6 260 (W) 297 clear none 19:00 43 0 9 228 (SW) 262 clear none 20:00 44 0 13 245 (WSW) 535 clear none 21:00 45 0 9 261 (W) 465 clear none 22:00 45 3 15 263 (W) 319 clear none 23:00 45 5 15 265 (W) 338 clear none 00:00 45 7 17 268 (W) 357 clear none 01:00 45 5 15 267 (W) 318 clear none 02:00 44 7 15 265 (W) 422 clear none 03:00 45 8 17 265 (W) 460 clear none 04:00 45 9 16 249 (WSW) 377 clear none 05:00 45 11 13 258 (WSW) 407 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
