For hours the seeing (in IR) rarely got above 0.6". The APOLLO laser was not working so we ceded time early. This is not counted as time lost to equipment since the problem was with the laser, not with observatory equipment. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:22 ECHELLE 600(-1048) 255 68 1.4 2.0 1.8 1.7 1.2 ND3 0.68 18:38 NICFPS 375 H2-2.12 0.47 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 36 -13 9 322 (NW) 126 mstly clr none 17:00 34 -15 12 313 (NW) 99 mstly clr none 18:00 34 -14 10 341 (NNW) 142 mstly clr none 19:00 35 -13 9 327 (NNW) 137 mstly clr none 20:00 35 -13 9 286 (WNW) 144 mstly clr none 21:00 35 -13 13 316 (NW) 147 mstly clr none 22:00 35 -13 12 307 (NW) 154 mstly clr none 23:00 34 -10 10 286 (WNW) 149 mstly clr none 00:00 35 -10 8 314 (NW) 168 mstly clr none 01:00 35 -12 8 321 (NW) 156 mstly clr none 02:00 33 -7 8 286 (WNW) 173 mstly clr none 03:00 34 -9 13 294 (WNW) 167 mstly clr none 04:00 34 -9 12 289 (WNW) 181 clear none 05:00 32 -9 7 267 (W) 162 clear none 06:00 32 -10 12 326 (NW) 142 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
