Seeing improved to sub arc sec by the end of the night. I was just focusing the telescope on the fly as needed. Locked TSPEC slitviewer up, most likely due to a command collision from both myself and the remote observer trying to expose the camera. Startnubs fixed it quickly. No telescope problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:34 TSPEC 624( 190) -31 49 2.6 0.9 0.6 1.6 2.2 Ks 1.47 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 36 12 17 22 (NNE) 372 clear none 17:00 35 11 36 21 (NNE) 363 clear none 18:00 36 6 33 16 (NNE) 589 clear none 19:00 36 4 29 30 (NNE) 427 clear none 20:00 36 1 27 17 (NNE) 526 clear none 21:00 36 2 30 37 (NE) 568 clear none 22:00 36 0 21 36 (NE) 1114 clear none 23:00 38 -4 18 42 (NE) 2174 clear none 00:00 39 -7 6 26 (NNE) 1909 clear none 01:00 42 -6 3 322 (NW) 2287 clear none 02:00 40 -7 5 284 (WNW) 1950 clear none 03:00 37 -6 1 208 (SSW) 1689 clear none 04:00 40 -3 2 233 (SW) 1368 clear none 05:00 36 0 6 196 (SSW) 1344 clear none 06:00 35 0 7 187 (S) 1324 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
