Paula gave up around 04:30 since she wouldn't have enought time left for her targets. Skies were trying to clear, and I was debating on opening (for the last program), but clouds started increasing again especially where my target was located, I could no longer see the stars in Auriga. Winds were gusty all night long with gusts between 33 - 40 MPH. I gave up at 05:20, as the skies were not improving and the satellite was now showing clouds to our W starting to cover us once again, which is what I was observing overhead. No fresh snow on the ground as of 05:20. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 28 19 24 85 (E) 2154 mstly cldy none 17:00 26 18 8 92 (E) 2140 mstly cldy none 18:00 23 20 24 83 (E) 2900 cloudy none 19:00 22 18 22 89 (E) 3374 cloudy none 20:00 18 17 25 89 (E) 1182 cloudy humid 21:00 19 17 22 91 (E) 1199 cloudy humid 22:00 23 15 24 111 (ESE) 1029 cloudy none 23:00 27 15 29 123 (ESE) 1487 cloudy none 00:00 29 18 31 135 (SE) 1821 cloudy none 01:00 29 19 28 139 (SE) 1884 cloudy none 02:00 30 19 32 139 (SE) 1905 mstly cldy none 03:00 30 20 27 143 (SE) 1935 mstly cldy none 04:00 29 21 29 148 (SSE) 2204 mstly cldy none 05:00 28 21 29 149 (SSE) 2314 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
