I heard ice crack and a little bit of snow fell into the enclosure. None got on the mirrors, but there is a small amount near the mirror covers. I don't want to get ice/snow on the telescope, so I will not try to open again this morning. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 31 30 17 261 (W) 2154 cloudy snow 17:00 31 28 15 284 (WNW) 170 cloudy humid 18:00 30 30 17 286 (WNW) 8832 cloudy humid 19:00 30 30 13 273 (W) 35549 mstly clr humid 20:00 30 30 2 317 (NW) 17196 clear humid 21:00 30 30 6 352 (N) 50219 clear humid 22:00 30 29 1 2 (N) 175 clear humid 23:00 30 30 12 11 (N) 34053 clear humid 00:00 29 28 20 352 (N) 283 clear humid 01:00 29 27 19 17 (NNE) 328 clear humid 02:00 29 26 14 22 (NNE) 412 clear humid 03:00 29 25 27 8 (N) 420 clear humid 04:00 29 25 20 17 (NNE) 441 clear humid 05:00 29 23 25 16 (NNE) 447 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
