Thirty minutes later a hole formed and we were able to open. Decent/stable/clear seeing the remainder of the night. Severe problems with APOLLO pointing. The pointing was 140 arcseconds off which meant all of APOLLO time was used trying to figure this out, time ran out before any solution could be found. When changing back to NA2 pointing was checked and looked good. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:34 SPICAM 82( -541) -31 36 -3.3 -2.2 -2.5 -3.1 -3.0 MSSSO R 1.05 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 30 11 16 259 (W) 636 cloudy none 17:00 29 13 11 264 (W) 737 cloudy none 18:00 27 12 11 265 (W) 581 clear none 19:00 26 15 11 277 (W) 704 clear none 20:00 26 15 19 292 (WNW) 656 clear none 21:00 25 17 13 305 (NW) 603 clear none 22:00 25 18 9 311 (NW) 496 mstly clr none 23:00 25 18 12 332 (NNW) 489 mstly clr none 00:00 25 19 12 288 (WNW) 508 clear none 01:00 25 17 9 351 (N) 363 clear none 02:00 26 15 7 359 (N) 331 clear none 03:00 25 12 10 358 (N) 279 clear none 04:00 25 15 14 356 (N) 276 clear none 05:00 24 15 12 7 (N) 299 clear none 06:00 26 14 11 352 (N) 266 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
