Humidity quickly rose and we closed after the observer got their 10 min exposure. Rain started a couple hours later as we had a thunderstorm move thru. Humidity and clouds kept us closed the remainder of the night. We gave up around 05:30 with fog and high humidity. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:32 ECHELLE 133( -2) 96 78 13.1 16.6 15.2 15.9 15.3 ND3 1.16 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:00 63 50 4 245 (WSW) 132 mstly cldy none 18:00 60 51 11 208 (SSW) 138 ptly cldy none 19:00 57 51 11 211 (SSW) 120 ptly cldy humid 20:00 54 52 11 147 (SSE) 161 mstly clr humid 21:00 54 53 9 167 (SSE) 144 ptly cldy humid 22:00 54 51 9 187 (S) 129 cloudy lt rain 23:00 50 51 10 360 (N) 4634 cloudy rain 00:00 47 46 9 68 (ENE) 337 cloudy rain 01:00 49 46 18 62 (ENE) 314 cloudy lt rain 02:00 54 44 4 320 (NW) 115 cloudy none 03:00 50 49 8 219 (SW) 120 cloudy humid 04:00 53 52 5 190 (S) 33726 cloudy fog 05:00 52 52 7 188 (S) 21264 cloudy fog Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
