I confirmed daystaff checks on the telescope motors, mirror motors, and the available instruments. After some evening storms cleared away, I opened the dome (with one false start) and started cooling the telescope. A software problem prevented me from obtaining a pointing model, and a hardware problem with the guider video signal prevented me from getting Shack-Hartmann data for collimation. However, using SPIcam I confirmed that both pointing and collimation are reasonably good, so it won't be difficult to fine-tune them once the problems are cleared up.
