When mounting DIS at 01:00 I rotated the rotator by hand and couldn't feel the vibration I felt Tuesday night anymore. No telescope problems tonight. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:23 TSPEC 113( 1065) 75 58 17.2 21.3 19.4 20.2 19.5 Ks 0.81 01:16 dis-slit 127( 530) 344 57 16.8 16.3 16.8 15.9 16.5 -- 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:00 71 49 6 260 (W) 482 clear none 19:00 68 51 7 256 (WSW) 609 clear none 20:00 63 51 4 217 (SW) 665 clear none 21:00 62 50 6 208 (SSW) 649 clear none 22:00 63 52 8 187 (S) 926 clear none 23:00 63 52 6 190 (S) 925 mstly clr none 00:00 62 50 8 184 (S) 925 mstly clr none 01:00 63 51 6 255 (WSW) 680 mstly clr none 02:00 62 50 6 196 (SSW) 666 ptly cldy none 03:00 61 50 5 190 (S) 657 ptly cldy none 04:00 62 49 6 196 (SSW) 587 mstly cldy none 05:00 62 48 7 231 (SW) 417 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
