Failures occured at: Drive tracking for about 10 mins. RA LMST-1.5, Dec 20 Rot 70. Instrument was filled with LN2 about 30 mins prior. Fritz monitored things after I broke it the first time. 01:27:22 .tcc.0 0 tcc I TCCStatus="TTT","NNN"; TCCPos=-64.933,65.152,-147.365; AxePos=-64.931,65.153,-147.331 01:27:32 .tcc.0 0 tcc I TCCStatus="TTT","NNN"; TCCPos=-64.988,65.120,-147.432; AxePos=-64.985,65.121,-142.144 01:27:32 .tcc.0 0 tcc I AzStat=-64.985393,-0.005750,4784146085.80000,0x00000000; AzDTime=-0.1 01:27:32 .tcc.0 0 tcc I AltStat=65.121217,-0.003180,4784146086.00000,0x00000000; AltDTime=-0.1 01:27:32 .tcc.0 0 tcc W RotStat=-142.144500,17.474490,4784146086.15000,0x20006801; BadRotStatus; RotDTime=-0.1; RotID=1,0 01:38:29 .tcc.0 0 tcc I TCCStatus="TTT","NNN"; TCCPos=-65.308,64.931,-147.828; AxePos=-65.305,64.932,-147.794 01:38:39 .tcc.0 0 tcc I TCCStatus="TTT","NNN"; TCCPos=-65.362,64.899,-147.894; AxePos=-65.359,64.900,-56.120 01:38:39 .tcc.0 0 tcc I AzStat=-65.359166,-0.005700,4784146753.10000,0x00000000; AzDTime=-0.1 01:38:39 .tcc.0 0 tcc I AltStat=64.900129,-0.003230,4784146753.25000,0x00000000; AltDTime=-0.1 01:38:39 .tcc.0 0 tcc W RotStat=-56.120000,0.000000,4784146753.40000,0x20006801; BadRotStatus; RotDTime=-0.2; RotID=1,0 01:44:45 .tcc.0 0 tcc I TCCStatus="TTT","NNN"; TCCPos=-62.335,66.578,-144.230; AxePos=-62.332,66.579,-144.198 01:44:55 .tcc.0 0 tcc I TCCStatus="TTT","NNN"; TCCPos=-62.395,66.546,-144.302; AxePos=-62.392,66.548,-57.190 01:44:55 .tcc.0 0 tcc I AzStat=-62.392190,-0.006080,4784147129.25000,0x00000000; AzDTime=-0.1 01:44:55 .tcc.0 0 tcc I AltStat=66.547501,-0.003210,4784147129.45000,0x00000000; AltDTime=-0.1 01:44:55 .tcc.0 0 tcc W RotStat=-57.190167,0.000000,4784147129.60000,0x20006801; BadRotStatus; RotDTime=-0.1; RotID=1,0 Fritz determined the drive was slipping, Bill and Ben adjusted the pre-load. That didn't fix the problem so they will clean the rotator at a later point rather than tonight and interfer with other engineering tests. Zero'ed rotator. Off by 0.151 degrees. Started Short pointing models for Bill. Clouds shut us down around 22:20 Re-opened at 23:45 02:10 we had a minor power glitch that killed the drives during the pointing model. I checked DIS/vacuum pump and it was not long enough to kill the pump or trip the safety valve. Collimated the telescope High altitude collimation check. Took both 10s and 5s (13k and 6.5k counts respectivley for each postion (82, 83, 84, etc.)) Started coming off at 83.8 deg I put the data in the 2010-06-25/high altitude directory Mir 7-9 5s 83 deg Mir 10-12 10s 83 deg MIr 13-15 10s 84 deg Mir 16-18 5s 84 deg Mir 19-21 10s 85 deg star would not stay put Mir 22-24 5s 85 deg star would not stay put Mir 25-27 10s 86 deg Star would not stay put Mir 28-30 5s 86 deg Star would not stay put Mir 31-33 10s 87 deg star would not stay put Mir 34-36 5s 87 deg star would not stay put The star moves in a matter of a few seconds when it is off the Transverse.
