Took bias's until user logged on by which time the bias' was at normal levels with a good standard deviation. At 21:30 spicam started to warm, observing with spicam was stopped at that time. Threatening clouds at the start of the night. Opened when clouds started to thin, moderate cloud cover till end of first half, clear the remainder of the night. Several motion errors tonight. One in the Southwest at 01:20MT at an az/alt of -40/36 and several others in the Northwest. A bunch of these occurred at 04:35MT when trying to slew north from the west. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NM07 S I/H 23:32 01:04 spicam cryotiger failure ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:36 SPICAM 149( 629) 232 49 12.4 12.5 12.4 11.9 12.2 SDSS g' 1.12 00:40 ECHELLE -107( -662) -66 43 11.4 10.6 11.1 10.3 10.8 ND2 1.08 02:17 dis 200( 326) 225 60 11.1 10.6 10.9 10.2 10.6 r 1.37 04:03 dis-slit 104( 208) 224 43 10.1 9.8 10.0 9.2 9.6 clear 1.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 18 12 198 (SSW) 637 clear none 17:00 63 17 16 222 (SW) 630 clear none 18:00 64 19 15 200 (SSW) 680 clear none 19:00 60 18 21 222 (SW) 586 clear none 20:00 56 17 21 207 (SSW) 639 clear none 21:00 55 19 12 193 (SSW) 1047 clear none 22:00 47 30 8 172 (S) 2290 clear none 23:00 45 30 8 104 (ESE) 2484 clear none 00:00 43 30 9 89 (E) 2556 clear none 01:00 41 28 8 92 (E) 2350 clear none 02:00 48 24 13 151 (SSE) 1992 clear none 03:00 48 25 13 130 (SE) 1971 clear none 04:00 47 27 13 133 (SE) 1817 clear none 05:00 45 28 13 131 (SE) 1895 clear none 06:00 40 27 10 121 (ESE) 1691 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
