It only did it for an instant then dropped back to 0.07-0.04V range. Clouds and the threat of rain kept us closed at the start of the night. zero'ed rotator 03:44:11 APO.Jack-Obs1 93 telmech f errtxt="" 03:44:11 .hub 0 cmds i CmdDone=1168723 03:44:11 .telmech.0 0 telmech w RawLine=":?HMERR: some axes to be moved have not been homed: 0, 0, 0, 0, 1\"" Homed Tertiary - details sent to Bill and Nick pointing was off slightly after the home (not suprising since they worked on the drives today) but not anything major. Humidity closed us just after I was able to do a quick pointing check. I re-opened at 01:15 just to have the humidity spike on me 15 mins later and force me to close again. I re-opened at 02:30 to do the pointing model. Completed pointing model at 04:05 and implemented. TPoint output and plots sent to the appropriate people. I checked pointing with the new model on a reference star and it was spot on. I next checked and adjusted pointing for the Echelle. Refence star landed just below the bottom edge of the field. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:24 NA2gdr -1336(28663) -1 57 11.0 12.7 12.6 11.8 11.6 clear 1.50 02:41 NA2gdr -1526(28473) -33 52 12.8 12.2 12.9 11.4 12.0 clear 1.10 04:19 NA2gdr -1526(28473) 210 54 11.9 11.9 12.2 11.4 11.7 clear 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:00 65 42 6 186 (S) 1049 ptly cldy none 19:00 65 43 8 178 (S) 1166 ptly cldy none 20:00 58 46 17 126 (SE) 1213 ptly cldy none 21:00 56 48 15 131 (SE) 1260 ptly cldy none 22:00 53 47 9 88 (E) 1379 ptly cldy humid 23:00 52 50 14 89 (E) 1257 ptly cldy humid 00:00 52 49 15 114 (ESE) 1216 ptly cldy humid 01:00 54 45 17 125 (SE) 1092 ptly cldy humid 02:00 51 46 14 113 (ESE) 971 mstly clr none 03:00 55 41 17 128 (SE) 1003 mstly clr none 04:00 54 42 17 135 (SE) 1021 mstly clr none 05:00 55 42 19 157 (SSE) 1073 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
