I also tied up the GFP cables that were on the floor by the TSPEC fill port exhaust. Adjusted pointing at NA1 (changes TertXTiltCoef -50, TertYTiltCoef -300). NA2 pointing looked fine when I rotated the tertiary back. I restarted the tcc at 05:03UT per Fritz email. UT06:34 ringing heard in azimuth as seen on dataq. Az 274 Alt 45. It died out on its own after about 10 seconds. UT08:40 Ring azimuth while slewing. It went away on its own after about 20-30 seconds, during middle of the slew. Both ringing events cleared on their own, with no observing time loss. No other problems tonight. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:31 ECHELLE -116( -601) 12 45 8.7 12.0 10.6 10.3 10.5 ND2 1.40 23:11 ECHELLE -81( -665) -37 44 10.8 10.0 10.5 9.2 10.0 ND1 1.07 00:19 dis-slit 176( 286) -78 50 10.2 10.1 10.5 9.7 10.1 -- 1.40 00:22 NA2gdr 2199(24199) -78 50 10.3 10.1 10.5 9.7 10.1 clear 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:00 58 17 8 262 (W) 1446 clear none 19:00 55 13 11 263 (W) 1480 clear none 20:00 49 13 7 218 (SW) 1382 clear none 21:00 48 9 7 185 (S) 1342 clear none 22:00 51 5 10 254 (WSW) 1220 clear none 23:00 51 6 8 279 (W) 1329 clear none 00:00 51 6 7 262 (W) 1515 clear none 01:00 50 11 6 263 (W) 1646 clear none 02:00 51 18 7 253 (WSW) 1985 clear none 03:00 50 19 7 283 (WNW) 1916 clear none 04:00 50 19 11 268 (W) 1848 clear none 05:00 49 18 10 259 (W) 1765 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
