In between there was a gap in clouds and precip that I thought might last an hour or two, long enough to get science -- but when we opened, we barely had time to get focused and set up before clouds formed overhead and the humidity spiked. There were some interesting cases of noise on the PMSS dataq while the telescope was parked during first half -- it appeared to be just electrical noise and not reflection of a physical motion. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:40 dis-slit 0( -465) 119 44 -4.4 -1.8 -2.2 -3.9 -3.2 - 2.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 37 15 25 254 (WSW) 1861 cloudy none 17:00 36 18 16 270 (W) 6938 cloudy dust 18:00 35 19 18 254 (WSW) 2251 cloudy none 19:00 35 21 24 276 (W) 3200 cloudy snow 20:00 27 27 15 301 (WNW) 9480 cloudy snow 21:00 28 27 15 266 (W) 1797 cloudy lt snow 22:00 26 25 13 233 (SW) 1445 cloudy none 23:00 26 22 10 218 (SW) 1576 cloudy none 00:00 25 24 9 196 (SSW) 4700 cloudy none 01:00 24 20 10 282 (WNW) 1322 mstly clr none 02:00 23 22 8 262 (W) 1471 cloudy none 03:00 23 22 12 262 (W) 913 cloudy none 04:00 22 21 6 2 (N) 1286 cloudy snow 05:00 22 21 13 26 (NNE) 889 cloudy snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
