Clear skies all night with good seeing for most of the night, though it degraded a little towards morning. Echelle pointing was possibly a little bit off - one or two stars were just on the field of view when slewed to. Other than that no telescope problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:27 dis-slit 59( 405) 78 69 10.9 15.2 13.2 13.7 13.4 1.20 21:51 dis-slit -50( 165) 17 83 11.4 12.6 12.2 11.6 11.8 0.90 04:51 ECHELLE -193( -815) 13 57 8.7 9.6 9.6 8.4 9.0 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 65 24 11 239 (WSW) 1185 clear none 17:00 63 22 10 269 (W) 1091 clear none 18:00 59 19 6 269 (W) 1073 clear none 19:00 59 25 12 230 (SW) 1120 clear none 20:00 53 24 6 241 (WSW) 1168 clear none 21:00 51 24 5 257 (WSW) 1244 clear none 22:00 53 21 10 185 (S) 1360 clear none 23:00 53 16 9 184 (S) 1420 clear none 00:00 52 16 6 185 (S) 1412 clear none 01:00 53 14 5 196 (SSW) 1555 clear none 02:00 53 15 8 215 (SW) 1488 clear none 03:00 53 14 5 193 (SSW) 1546 clear none 04:00 49 27 7 126 (SE) 1613 clear none 05:00 48 33 10 143 (SE) 1555 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
