A couple of times it dropped to a maybe-usable range, but I was nervous because the 3.5m dewpoint sensor (listed below) was not working properly and so I was relying on the 2.5m sensor, further from our telescope. The periods of lower humidity coincided with some clouds, anyway. I checked the DIS spectrograph focus and found it good on both blue and red. I had some trouble with Agile during checkout because apparently someone had aborted a sequence a few days ago, and either the instrument was already locked up or my first camera command locked it up. Many resets and ICC restarts were required. Although we have a valid workaround, the bug following Agile aborts is quite annoying if a mistake should be made; in this case, it took about 40 minutes to get the instrument communicating again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 45 32 11 322 (NW) 617 cloudy none 17:00 45 32 8 281 (W) 578 cloudy none 18:00 43 31 9 271 (W) 627 mstly cldy none 19:00 42 31 5 288 (WNW) 658 mstly cldy none 20:00 40 32 10 273 (W) 12930 mstly cldy fog 21:00 39 32 1 246 (WSW) 689 mstly cldy fog 22:00 40 32 2 316 (NW) 5891 mstly cldy fog 23:00 39 32 4 10 (N) 648 ptly cldy none 00:00 39 32 7 351 (N) 736 ptly cldy none 01:00 38 31 2 6 (N) 785 ptly cldy none 02:00 39 31 6 2 (N) 824 ptly cldy none 03:00 39 31 10 3 (N) 867 ptly cldy none 04:00 39 31 6 357 (N) 735 ptly cldy none 05:00 39 31 7 355 (N) 755 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
