It finally started to move eastward around 03:00 and we opened around 03:20. 10:24UT Az/Alt -115/46.7 a odd buzz on the intercom and a square looking wave on the az current/error dataq plots. The noise lasted until we slewed to the next object. This didn't sound like the 1Khz we normally hear at certain positions. No other problems tonight. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:30 dis-slit -293( -374) 32 61 4.8 6.4 6.6 5.3 5.4 -- 1.50 03:31 NA2gdr 1488(23488) 31 62 4.6 6.4 6.6 5.3 5.4 clear 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 57 37 14 194 (SSW) 452 cloudy none 17:00 52 36 13 197 (SSW) 375 cloudy lt rain 18:00 54 37 15 208 (SSW) 336 ptly cldy none 19:00 48 40 6 178 (S) 436 mstly cldy humid 20:00 44 41 16 129 (SE) 511 cloudy humid 21:00 44 39 16 134 (SE) 477 cloudy humid 22:00 44 38 12 125 (SE) 505 cloudy humid 23:00 41 38 13 76 (ENE) 527 cloudy humid 00:00 42 36 3 112 (ESE) 587 cloudy humid 01:00 42 35 5 109 (ESE) 448 cloudy none 02:00 41 34 11 115 (ESE) 385 cloudy none 03:00 43 31 5 98 (E) 304 ptly cldy none 04:00 40 35 10 84 (E) 328 ptly cldy none 05:00 44 31 3 194 (SSW) 315 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
