By around midnight it was snowing and the outside temp had dropped significantly. I took some DIS linearity data for Joe tonight using suggestions Holtzman proposed during out tech-o-con this afternoon. I gave up around 2:30 since we had a good dusting of snow on the ground and winds that would blow it into the dome if we could have opened. Radar was showing more precip on the way and it was lightly snowing outside as well. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 49 19 30 253 (WSW) 28894 mstly cldy dust 17:00 41 23 24 279 (W) 26999 mstly cldy dust 18:00 40 22 25 263 (W) 10607 mstly cldy dust 19:00 38 23 21 259 (W) 6170 ptly cldy dust 20:00 33 21 21 266 (W) 6297 cloudy none 21:00 31 21 22 294 (WNW) 3818 cloudy none 22:00 29 18 24 289 (WNW) 2353 cloudy none 23:00 29 16 9 295 (WNW) 1254 cloudy lt snow 00:00 28 15 16 257 (WSW) 1477 cloudy snow 01:00 25 19 13 291 (WNW) 1933 cloudy snow 02:00 22 19 11 296 (WNW) 2889 cloudy lt snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
