Huehnerhoff Had a little trouble with the focus loop during the first focus run on DIS. The slitviewer window selected the upper right corner of the ccd to read and not the star. Restarting the slitviewer Nubs solved the problem. Clear skies on and off throughout the night with decent seeing. No problems with the instruments. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:41 dis-slit 230( 82) 145 44 2.9 4.6 3.2 3.0 3.3 clear 1.24 00:16 TSPEC 169( 201) 252 33 3.0 1.8 2.7 1.7 2.3 clear 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 7 12 284 (WNW) 662 clear none 17:00 41 10 15 294 (WNW) 713 clear none 18:00 38 8 8 267 (W) 706 clear none 19:00 37 7 7 261 (W) 791 clear none 20:00 36 9 11 232 (SW) 726 clear none 21:00 35 9 7 222 (SW) 871 mstly clr none 22:00 35 8 7 208 (SSW) 855 clear none 23:00 37 4 10 201 (SSW) 724 clear none 00:00 38 0 8 262 (W) 666 clear none 01:00 37 5 12 269 (W) 1086 mstly clr none 02:00 37 6 10 217 (SW) 895 mstly clr none 03:00 38 7 10 247 (WSW) 995 ptly cldy none 04:00 37 11 8 261 (W) 968 mstly clr none 05:00 37 14 7 263 (W) 1051 mstly clr none 06:00 37 17 9 256 (WSW) 809 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
