Bill K. went up to investigate but could not hear the same noise as was being picked up by the phone. He will investigate further during the daytime tomorrow. Humidity kept us closed for the first program and I gave the remainder of the time to the second, it was only a few minutes. Humidity again closed us for about an hour during the first half, until the front finally moved thru. No problems the remainder of the night. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:20 TSPEC 300( 237) -69 50 -2.2 0.4 -0.8 -0.7 -0.9 Ks 1.30 22:21 TSPEC 362( 178) 131 58 -1.1 -1.9 -1.3 -2.9 -2.1 Ks 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 34 24 4 274 (W) 309 mstly cldy humid 17:00 33 23 3 246 (WSW) 302 mstly cldy humid 18:00 28 24 2 307 (NW) 326 mstly cldy humid 19:00 28 18 8 282 (WNW) 392 mstly cldy none 20:00 28 24 9 302 (WNW) 568 ptly cldy none 21:00 28 24 8 267 (W) 613 ptly cldy humid 22:00 29 22 2 225 (SW) 618 ptly cldy none 23:00 29 14 8 207 (SSW) 487 ptly cldy none 00:00 29 15 12 242 (WSW) 393 mstly clr none 01:00 30 14 7 264 (W) 378 clear none 02:00 29 15 10 273 (W) 359 clear none 03:00 30 16 16 303 (WNW) 294 clear none 04:00 31 19 18 315 (NW) 355 clear none 05:00 30 20 17 309 (NW) 383 clear none 06:00 29 20 13 322 (NW) 395 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
