Some images with the DIS slitviewer looked quite comatic, but the NA2 guider was seeing much less coma so the aberration is probably associated with instrument rather than telescope. I will check DIS slitviewer and spectrograph focus tomorrow. There was one motion error, which occurred while tracking (or possibly while making a small centering offset) at UT 01:58:10 . ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:53 dis-slit 288( 220) 65 37 4.0 6.0 5.0 4.3 4.8 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 9 11 252 (WSW) 1687 clear none 17:00 45 9 22 273 (W) 1597 clear none 18:00 41 7 22 218 (SW) 1714 clear none 19:00 38 6 17 213 (SSW) 1510 clear none 20:00 39 7 18 223 (SW) 1592 clear none 21:00 40 6 11 262 (W) 989 clear none 22:00 39 7 11 264 (W) 976 clear none 23:00 41 8 18 267 (W) 1171 clear none 00:00 41 8 16 263 (W) 1040 ptly cldy none 01:00 39 9 15 249 (WSW) 1014 mstly clr none 03:00 38 11 16 249 (WSW) 879 mstly clr none 04:00 37 13 19 238 (WSW) 814 mstly clr none 05:00 36 16 21 254 (WSW) 683 mstly clr none 06:00 34 18 14 254 (WSW) 613 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
