When I rebooted it the NICFPS temps did not come back. I rebooted the terminal server at instrument cahngeover and restarted the NICFPS icc again. Reconnecting NICFPS to the hub brought back the temps again. Guiding with DIS tonight was a bit finicky. They were doing long (40s) slit exposures and the star wanted to drift upward in the field over a period of several minutes. Guiding seemed to be working but making ObjectXY offsets (Relative) was a bit tricky as the long exposure and the slight drift didn't help matters. I increased the Rad mult and that helped some. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:27 NICFPS 384( 686) 52 40 1.4 4.7 3.1 3.8 3.4 J 1.00 18:29 NA2gdr 446(43446) 51 40 1.4 4.5 3.0 3.6 3.2 clear 1.10 00:17 dis-slit 275( -91) -32 52 0.4 0.4 0.7 0.0 0.3 -- 1.06 00:18 NA2gdr 2314(24314) -33 52 0.6 0.4 0.8 0.0 0.3 R 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 40 19 15 247 (WSW) 1054 clear none 17:00 39 20 19 261 (W) 1206 clear none 18:00 35 15 20 254 (WSW) 1124 clear none 19:00 34 17 20 244 (WSW) 1164 clear none 20:00 35 16 17 247 (WSW) 1087 clear none 21:00 35 18 17 260 (W) 1256 clear none 22:00 34 13 16 275 (W) 1064 clear none 23:00 34 14 22 285 (WNW) 1094 clear none 00:00 33 15 18 282 (WNW) 1097 clear none 01:00 33 15 24 293 (WNW) 1146 clear none 02:00 31 16 19 296 (WNW) 1150 clear none 03:00 31 16 19 291 (WNW) 1164 clear none 04:00 30 14 15 291 (WNW) 1184 clear none 05:00 30 13 17 300 (WNW) 1261 clear none 06:00 30 13 17 299 (WNW) 1305 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
