It took Fritz, Bill and Myself about 3 hrs to track the problem down (after a couple wild goose chases that lead nowhere) and Fritz getting it fixed. Long story short, We had an error that wasn't being corrected for in Altitude that was showing up as streaking in Azimuth in the images. That and the Agile rotator seemed to had broke free and free-wheeled (which was our first wild goose that we chased). DIS blue ion pump was running higher than we normally see this morning. No problems otherwise and pointing was good as well. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UW06 V T/S 17:57 21:10 Error in altitude corrections causing problems azimuth tracking. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:18 AGILE 125(-2490) 120 46 -3.9 -3.8 -3.8 -4.9 -4.2 BG40 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 27 18 5 258 (WSW) 429 ptly cldy none 17:00 26 19 1 254 (WSW) 482 ptly cldy none 18:00 27 10 5 345 (NNW) 424 ptly cldy none 19:00 26 11 6 303 (WNW) 434 ptly cldy none 20:00 25 4 6 314 (NW) 323 mstly clr none 21:00 26 -3 6 2 (N) 280 mstly clr none 22:00 24 -2 3 13 (NNE) 303 clear none 23:00 26 8 1 326 (NW) 314 clear none 00:00 25 0 2 341 (NNW) 280 clear none 01:00 26 10 2 351 (N) 342 clear none 02:00 25 9 1 342 (NNW) 313 clear none 03:00 25 9 1 171 (S) 297 clear none 04:00 25 6 2 201 (SSW) 287 mstly clr none 05:00 24 7 3 185 (S) 315 ptly cldy none 06:00 22 7 4 193 (SSW) 365 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
