NA2 guider quit a couple times during the first half of the night (SPIcam), it needed to be restarted from TUI. We didn't have any problems with the NA2 guider during the second half (DIS). At the end of the night when I went to park the telescope, DIS did not want to rotate to 0 deg. I had to stop the drives and re-start them, which fixed the problem. RotDTime error. I parked the telescope at 15 deg to change out one of the truss lamps. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:26 SPICAM 197( -24) 19 51 3.9 6.3 4.5 5.0 4.9 Strom y 1.60 21:19 SPICAM 37( -233) -156 47 6.4 5.3 5.9 4.9 5.6 Strom y 0.80 23:14 ECHELLE 105(-1397) 148 77 6.0 5.1 5.7 4.7 5.3 ND3 1.20 00:09 dis-slit 227( -354) 344 66 5.4 5.0 5.4 4.5 5.0 -- 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 -1 2 205 (SSW) 980 mstly clr none 17:00 40 -3 6 349 (N) 55 mstly clr none 18:00 42 -1 7 295 (WNW) 53 mstly clr none 19:00 41 -3 11 308 (NW) 27 ptly cldy none 20:00 43 0 10 292 (WNW) 74 ptly cldy none 21:00 43 0 12 293 (WNW) 100 ptly cldy none 22:00 43 -1 5 265 (W) 28 ptly cldy none 23:00 43 -2 16 279 (W) 34 ptly cldy none 00:00 42 -1 12 270 (W) 58 mstly clr none 01:00 44 -1 14 275 (W) 75 mstly clr none 02:00 43 -3 14 281 (W) 82 mstly clr none 03:00 42 -2 7 290 (WNW) 54 mstly clr none 04:00 43 -1 17 300 (WNW) 54 mstly clr none 05:00 43 -1 7 286 (WNW) 44 mstly clr none 06:00 43 -1 10 289 (WNW) 54 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
