A very nice lunar eclipse tonight, despite some pesky clouds during egress. Clouds during most of tonight (well, we had somewhat clearer weather during the eclipse) and then they rolled back in at twilight (and the humidity went up as well). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:02 ECHELLE 109(-1430) 101 39 3.9 3.6 3.8 3.6 3.7 ND3 1.40 22:41 APOLLO 0( 170) 66 58 3.5 3.3 3.6 3.2 3.3 -- 1.40 04:31 ECHELLE 200(-1446) 50 64 1.8 2.1 2.2 1.9 1.9 ND3 0.85 05:55 TSPEC 156( -256) 13 56 1.8 1.6 1.9 1.5 1.6 Ks 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 39 23 16 265 (W) 760 cloudy none 17:00 39 24 25 268 (W) 291 cloudy none 18:00 40 21 32 287 (WNW) 292 cloudy none 19:00 38 22 20 285 (WNW) 252 cloudy none 20:00 39 22 29 274 (W) 249 mstly cldy none 21:00 39 25 22 270 (W) 236 ptly cldy none 22:00 38 27 21 262 (W) 237 ptly cldy none 23:00 38 27 26 268 (W) 259 ptly cldy none 00:00 38 27 27 268 (W) 321 ptly cldy none 01:00 38 28 26 268 (W) 417 ptly cldy none 02:00 38 29 26 263 (W) 320 mstly cldy none 03:00 37 29 25 271 (W) 326 ptly cldy none 04:00 36 29 22 265 (W) 333 ptly cldy none 05:00 35 30 29 268 (W) 297 mstly cldy none 06:00 35 31 27 248 (WSW) 188 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
